About the Club

Y.VEST is a digital country club that never built the fence. Here's the paperwork on how that happened.

The Idea

Y.Vest started as a question: what if a clothing brand behaved like a members only club instead of a storefront? We're still finding out. Join us on the journey and become part of the Club.

The Name Enters Circulation

A phrase on a sweater, long before there was a club to put it on. Officially, this is where the story starts. Unofficially, nobody can prove it.

2008

The First Relaunch

An internal memo announced "Y.VEST Elsewhere." Roy Hobbs was appointed to document it. The initiative quietly ended sometime after — the paperwork is the only proof it happened at all.

A Second Attempt

Another small run, another season. The club has a pattern by now, whether it admits it or not.

Five pieces from the early years, kept in circulation for members who know where to look.
